The presenter will be Chrats Melkonian. During his PhD he studied different ecosystems, like fermented beverages (wine and kefir), the human urinary tract microbiome, an extremely acidic biofilm from a cave, and a benzene degrading community. Currently he continues his work on wine and expand it to cheese microbiome as a PostDoc researcher in Denmark at Chr. Hansen. He will present us his work with the title: High biodiversity in a benzene-degrading nitrate-reducing culture is sustained by a few primary consumers”
